Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana features captivating vocal solos, intricate choral harmonies, and rhythmic intensity, exploring themes of love, fate, and the human experience with dramatic flair. A World Premiere of Canticum Novum written by Melissa Dunphy with words by Artistic Director Ryan Heller and Phillip Barnes to commemorate Chorus Austin’s 60th Anniversary will also be performed.
Performed by our Symphonic Choir in concert with the Austin Symphony Orchestra.
