Chorus Austin opens its 53rd concert season on November 4th & 5th with The Art of the Prophets, an incredible chamber ensemble performance commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.

Ryan Heller returns for his ninth year as Chorus Austin’s Artistic Director and Conductor. The ensemble will perform a wide range of selections by Martin Luther, himself; not only works such as his ‘A Mighty Fortress is Our God,’ but also music using an abundance of texts written by Luther that inspire other composers through the ages – masters like Bach and Schütz, Brahms and Mendelssohn.

Watch below as Artistic Director Ryan Heller provides special insight into The Art of the Prophets.
