Chorus Austin is a 501(c)3 non-profit community arts organization that supported by its active members, grants, private donors, numerous fundraising activities, and through ticket sales. Even with sold-out performances, ticket sales only contribute to 40% of our annual income, and we rely heavily on our supporters to fund the gap.
There
are many ways you can contribute to Chorus Austin: donate to our "One
Great Day" annual fund, sponsor an orchestra player, underwrite a
performance/project, become a corporate sponsor, or purchase
advertising space in our concert programs.
In
addition to donating money, we have several volunteer opportunities
available. Those include ushering at performances, provide professional
services and consulting in fundraising, development, marketing, and a
variety of other tasks crucial to the growth of the organization. We
currently have a High School Volunteer program that allows high school
students to volunteer as ushers at performances for 4 hours of
community service credit!
