Austin Vocal Arts Ensemble – In Remembrance (DVD)
Recorded live March 31, 2012

As a part of the citywide Light / The Holocaust & Humanity Project, the Austin Vocal Arts Ensemble performed a program of songs in remembrance of the Holocaust and songs of peace. The program included the world premiere of Robert Kyr’s The Unutterable, with video and narration by the composer and featuring Rabbi Neil F. Blumofe.

Other works included Donald Grantham’s We Remember Them, the dramatic Kaddish for a Young Artist by Loris O. Chobanian, with memories of the Holocaust reflected in A Child’s Journey by Michael Horvit, poems by Yaakov Barzilai, and Is Not A Flower A Mystery? by Donald McCullough based on a meditation by Rabbi Chaim Stern.
